OSHA Alert - Time to Post 2022's Injuries and Illnesses

A majority of employers (not just those working in industrial settings) are required to post Occupational Safety and Health Administration ("OSHA") Form 300A. This form is an annual summary of work-related injuries and illnesses from the prior year. Employers must post a copy of the 2022 annual summary, from February 1 - April 30, 2023. This requirement applies regardless of whether your organization had any injuries or illnesses to record.

Many employers are surprised to learn they are obligated to create and post a log of workplace injuries and illnesses using the OSHA Form 300. Employers are required to keep a copy of the forms for 5 years and make them available as requested by OSHA. Employers with less than 10 employees are exempt from this requirement.
